General Description
The VHCT541A is an advanced high-speed CMOS device fabricated with silicon gate CMOS technology. It achieves the high-speed operation similar to equivalent Bipolar Schottky TTL while maintaining the CMOS low power dissi pation. The VHCT541A is an octal buffer/line driver designed to be employed as memory and address drivers, clock drivers and bus oriented transmitter/receivers.
FEATUREs
• High Speed: tPD = 5.5 ns (typ) at VCC = 5V
• Low power dissipation: ICC = 4 μA (max) at TA = 25°C
• Power down protection is provided on all inputs and outputs
• Pin and function compatible with 74HCT541
