Description
FCM8202 is a three-phase sinusoidal brushless (BLDC)
motor controller with the advanced Hall sensor design.
Using the Hall sensor signals, the control system is able
to execute the PWM commutation by switching the
three-phase inverter. There are two PWM modes: Sine-
Wave Mode and Square-Wave Mode. The Square-
Wave Mode includes PWM-PWM and PWM-ON
approaches to improve the efficiency of the motor drive.
Complete protection functions including over-voltage,
over-current, over-temperature, and short-circuit
protections prevent the control circuits and the motor
from being damaged, particularly under stressed
applications and demanding environments.
