4 BIT SINGLE-CHIP MICROCONTROLLER

The μPD17103L and μPD17103L(A) are tiny microcontrollers consisting of 1K-byte (512 x 16 bits) ROM, 16 x 4 bit RAM, and 11 input/output ports.
Since these microcontrollers can operate at a low voltage of 1.8 V or more, they can be used for wide variety of products powered by one lithium battery or two dry cells.
The 17K architecture, which sues general resisters to directly mainpulate data memory, is employed for effective programming. Every instruction is 1 word long, consisting of 16 bits.
