Maximum AC voltage (VRMS), current (IRMS) vs. frequency and temperature for TA > 100 ºC

The graphs described in the previous section for the permissible AC voltage (VRMS) or current

(IRMS) vs. frequency are given for a maximum ambient temperature TA ≤100 ºC. In case of higher

ambient temperatures (TA), the self-heating (∆T) of the component must be reduced to avoid that

temperature of the component (Top= TA + ∆T) reaches values above maximum operating

temperature.The factor FT shall be applied in the following way:
