The TB2905HQ is a high-efficiency class KB power amplifier IC developed for car audio applications that incorporates four BTL amplifier channels.
It employs a pure complementary DMOS output stage consisting of P-ch upper and N-ch lower sections, offering a maximum output power (POUT) of 47 W. Class KB (keyed BTL) amplifiers exhibit less than half the heat generation of comparable class AB solutions under normal operating conditions. Therefore, it is possible to design a smaller heatsink and maintain lower internal temperature in the car audio sets.
