6.12 Power and Ground

The CS98100 requires five different types of power

supplies for the Plus, internal logic, IO pins, video

DAC-digital and video DAC analog. The PLLs, in-

ternal logic and video DAC digital use 1.8 V supply

voltage. The IO pins and video DAC analog use 3.3

V supply voltage. It is recommended to use good

layout techniques to provide isolation between the

supply types on the board. Contact Cirrus Logic ap-

plications engineering for layout guidelines.
