SD8053 / Source management chip. Its thin size and small outer packaging make it convenient for portable applications. What’s more worth mentioning is that SD8053 is specially designed to be suitable for USB power supply specifications. Thanks to the internal MOSFET structure, external resistors and blocking diodes are not required in the application. Thermal feedback can control the charging current to reduce chip temperature during high-energy operation and high peripheral temperatures.
