The MC145506, MC145507, and MC145508 are per channel codec–filter PCM mono–circuits. These devices perform the voice digitization and reconstruction, as well as the band limiting and smoothing required for PCM systems. These devices have HCMOS compatible digital outputs and otherwise supplement the MC145500 – MC145505 series of PCM codec–filters.
